All Good Things Do Come To An End......

Well on Friday my Best Friend Lori Surprised me for my Birthday at a crop here locally at one of our fav. places to shop. She had a table all set up for me with my gifts and balloons and even my favorite cake..... pineapple upside down cake. It was all very beautiful. I was very surprised by it all. She is such a stinker. We had a great night just laughing and telling stories, poor Mary (the store owner) she thinks we are nuts. I did not get home till almost 2 in the morning. It was a late night. Lori made me the most beautiful collage ever, she also got me not 1 but 2 Sally Jean charms. Lori also made me this adorable Fairy jar with tiny beads at the bottom. I also got the most adorable box that says party girl on it, she is a creative genius I tell you. She could really make this stuff and sell it on Etsy. Here is some of the pics I took of the items she made me. I am posting these with Lori's permission. I also had the chance to finish a layout of me and T.

Only 1 More Day Till My.......

Birthday. UGH I am getting so old. I am just lucky now days I wake up. I wanted to post here I got some good news last night. My husband and I found out our son Mr. B made a travel team for hockey. I was so happy for him. Now on the sour note...... we still have to pay more money and that does not include the weekend stays out of town for tournaments. The good news is I will not be hosting Thanksgiving. The bad news is we will be eating at a diner some where. I was able to start working on some of my layouts for the PineCone Press Book Club I started back up with my best friend Lori. This month our host Mary made her own kit and we used the GO FIGURE book which was pure genius. Loved this whole concept. We are to use and incorperate numbers into our layouts or projects.

Where Do I Start?

I have been absent for a bit.... I got my finally entry in for the http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/index.htm I was pretty happy with it. I did a clear album. I did not make the design team, but I will be guest designing for the month of October. I will have to retake pictures and post them on here. Last week was a tough week for me I don't know where to even start. Monday- I had a full can of soda explode all over my kitchen and it took me over 2 hours to clean. Tuesday- our sump pump went out and had water flooding our lower level bathroom, and had to replace the sump pump at almost 9 o clock at night. Luckily home depot was just up the street and was still open. Wednesday- I had another soda burst open. The mess was not as bad. Thursday- well that day was just a blurr. Friday- did get better. It was my anniversary. My honey sent me roses and they were beautiful. I did get some layouts finished Sat.

Moving on up.....

Well I made it to round three. For round two we had to make a card- any kind of card. This one was a tough one for me. I am so card challenged, but I made it through over at the http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/index.htm I also did this layout for a guest design team spot and well I guess maybe there are better things planned for me.

Round one over at the http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/index.htm search for a design team member. Yep that's right, that would be me. I was so excited. Now I have to make a card and use chipboard and felt. Let's see what I come up with. Here is my layout I did to move on to round two.

Things to Share...

I wanted to post a couple of ATC cards I made for the girls over at http://themosyscrapper.forumakers.com/portal.htm. A few of us decided to have an ATC swap and here is what I came up with. I hope they like them.

A Few Things I Have Worked On....

These are a few things I have worked on the last few days. I really didn't do much over the 4Th of July weekend. I did manage to get a few layouts finished. Mr. B got 3 home runs the other night at his t-ball game and he was pretty stoked about that. I of course was like that is my son. T is pretty busy with her new boyfriend. They are so cute together.
