A little me time...

had a little me time today after being sick last week for the whole entire week and of course the boy was sick as well..ugh. It hit our household hard. I told myself I was going to get up today and clean this pig sty of a house and scrap a little and that is what I did. I found this cute little sketch over at Elle's Studio and decided to play along since I had these cute little Christmas tags and I am so behind I just love all of those items over at Elle's Studio and hopefully I will get some more playtime in today!!
I did manage to get more playtime in...Yeah!! and I decided to conquer two sketches right away. One being over at Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits and here is my take on that sketch... and another sketch over at Frosted Designs and here is my layout for this one....

ScrapFits WWU #24

Happy Sunday, everyone! This is the first WWU on the new posting schedule. Remember, now there will only be one WWU each month, posted on the 5th. The rules are the same...you still have two weeks to play along, and then ScrapFit will announce the winner on the 19th and post the Spotlight on the 26th. Be sure to play along with our new Step Class Coach's challenges as well! There will be no shortages of scrappy fun around here :)
Next up is the next WWU! It's #24, and for this one, you need to use CLUSTERS somewhere on your project. You can cluster your photos, you can cluster flowers...embellishments...anything goes as long as it's in some sort of cluster.

Workout #61- Blank Canvas

Every good layout starts out as a blank canvas! For this workout we want you to start out with a WHITE background paper and build your layout from there! This leaves your opportunity for creativity wide open! Will you leave the white for us to see or will you cover it up!?!? We cant wait to see!

I used cardboard on my layout as well as some painting with bubble wrap and used up bits of scraps.

So, I bet you're wondering what the heck is this weeks challenge about? Denise came up with a FAB idea!! It's a recipe challenge, but not a crafty recipe!! We're going all out with REAL recipes this week!! We want you to share your recipes with us - food, drink, bath salts, body rubs - that sort of thing!! Something that we can all try ourselves!! You'll see a lot of different idea's from the DT, so have fun hopping around to visit us all and then come on back and be sure to share your recipe!! We have another giveaway from Stacia this week!!
