Happy New Years....

challenge is up and posted over at Lasting Memories This weeks challenge is to do a layout about.... do you have a resolution for this year or something that you hope to accomplish? Maybe you're setting a goal to get a certain amount of layouts done? How did you celebrate New Years?
Here is my example for this challenge on how we celebrated New Years
We as a family usually do not do anything on New Years Eve, but this year we went to a friends house to ring in the New Year. This is proof that you had a good time when the kitchen looks like this the next day!!

Getting to Know You...

The first of many new challenges has been posted over at Lasting Memories. Show us something about YOU!! I know, sounds easy, but this one can be tough!! We can't wait to see what you create!! I always find it difficult to scrap pictures of me. I never like the way I look in pictures ( I guess cause the camera always adds pounds) anyways I did have a few silly pictures of me and the kids and of course for anyone that knows me and my personality...this fits.

It sure has been a busy day around here. My second announcement for today is that I have made Lasting Memories Design Team! This is going to be so much fun. My One Little Word...

for 2012 is ESTABLISH. For several years now I have jumped on the band wagon along with many other scrapbookers and have joined Ali Edwards in selecting a word that I strive to use everyday in my life. I try to pick a word that will have meaning to me and others around me. I picked Establish for so many reasons. I want to establish a better relationship with my daughter and her husband. I want to establish a better relationship with my twin boys. I want to establish a better relationship with my sister. Most of all I want and need to ESTABLISH and maintain a better relationship with my husband. The list could go on and on of things I want to better establish and that is why I picked that as my word. Over at Scrapbook Circle they are having a little challenge about goals and using your one little word and this is what I came up with

Merry Christmas.....

I hope all my readers out there have a Merry Christmas. Remember this man is watching!!!
I did take a little time to work on a layout for Lasting Memories and the challenge this time was to use a photo they posted as inspiration and you could use the sketch as well. I used the colors from the photo and that the fact the small boy was lying down, I also used the sketch. and this is also for my DT Entry for Lasting Memories as well...fingers crossed.

In other news...I did not make the final cut for Creative Memories...a little sad, but it happens in the scrapbooking world. I will now show what I made for them...

Final layouts for Sweet Peach Crop Shop

Here are my final layouts for Sweet Peach Crop Shop. This was the last month Corrie was having kits. It's sad really in today's economy that this has to happen. I truly loved working for Corrie and loved designing with these kits. All kits have been marked down at an incredible price till sold out over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop!!




I also have another one I did and it is based on a sketch by Keri here is the sketch.. I am adding this to the last challenge over at Scrap It With A Song and I have another layout to share with you today and it is for The Paper Variety This is a picture of my twin boys when they were like two years old!! They are now almost 20!! I also found a new challenge place to play along at it is called Lasting Memories and here is my layout for this challenge

My Last Day...

Today was a sad day for me over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. This was my last and finial post. Again, thank you Corrie for having me on your Design Team and I am very honored to say I was able to work for a wonderful kit club and wonderful person. There was so many great girls that designed there and will miss working with them as well. My post today over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop was showcasing my December Countdown Stockings that I had made...here are a few photos of those.

It Is Getting Near....
