Another One Done!!!

I had a chance to finish one more layout this weekend before I had to actually get some real work done....gah I hate reality sometimes!!! Anyways, I did this layout for ScrapFit and Sketches In Thyme. Scrapfit's challenge was to journal ‘go around’ the outside of something. It can go around the outside of you page, around your photo or even around an embellishment. Show us how you journal around!
Sketches In Thyme's challenge this week was an Open Challenge so I used a sketch from Ideas for Scrapbooker's Here is the sketch...
and here is my take on this sketch...
I did my journaling all around the layout about what it takes to be friends.

Working for the Weekend...

I got a couple of layouts finished over the weekend and since the weekend is not officially over I still have more scrapping to do!! Anyways here are two of the layouts I have done so far...This first one is for Scrapfit and the challenge was
Numbers, numbers and more numbers! Lets see a layout or card with lot and lot of numbers. Show us how your numbers add up! I did a layout of my Brother in Law's 2nd birthday...
The next layout is for Lily Bee and it was a sketch challenge, but you had to use at least two Lily Bee products here is the sketch...
and this is my take on the sketch... this is a layout about one of my twin boys finally getting out of the hospital after being in there after a month and being able to meet his Uncle Tim. Lily Bee products used for this layout are: Black Licorice - Harvest Market, Turtleneck - Harvest Market, Seize the Day - Picket Fence, and Memorandum Index Journaling Cards

Lily Bee is having a sketch contest and I decided to try my hand at it...what is there to lose? Here is the sketch...

I did tons of sewing (which I found out today disturbed my 10 year old, while he tried to watch the T.V) and I used a Lily Bee Memorandum journaling card which I cut two pieces off for journaling strips.•Lily Bee - Black Licorice and Lily Bee - Turtleneck which came from the Sweet Peach Crop Shop's Juicy Kit
